Gardai will and have fined motorists for using bus lanes today

Gardai have reminded motorists that bus lanes remain operational today and on other days of Dublin Bus strikes — cycling safety is part of the reasoning to keep bus lanes open.

“Bus lanes will continue to operate as normal to facilitate other bus service providers, public service vehicles, emergency service vehicles and increased cyclist numbers,” said Sean Mac Seoin of the Garda press office.
