Waterford Council Council are continuing the cleanup after storm Ophelia and are warning users of the Waterford Greenway that Ballyvoyle Tunnel is still closed today.

The council said on Facebook this morning: “Please note that as highlighted yesterday the post Storm Ophelia clean up on Waterford Greenway has commenced. While works are ongoing access to Ballyvoyle Tunnel is currently prohibited for safety reasons. We will keep intending Greenway visitors updated over the course of the day as clean up and removal work progresses.”
