Cyclist killed in Co Wexford

Garda press release: Gardaí at Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N30 in the townland of Moneytucker, Clonroche, Enniscorthy, at approximately 3.45p.m. yesterday afternoon Monday 18th February, 2013.

A 40 year old male pedal cyclist was struck by a car at the above location and died at scene. He was removed to Wexford General Hospital a short time later.

The male driver (early 20s) of the car along with three passengers were uninjured.

A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda forensic collision investigators.
