A ghost bicycle erected beside the Robert Emmet Bridge at Harold’s Cross in Dublin, which was removed two years ago, is to be reinstated tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
Dublin City Council removed the ghost bicycle in June 2016 under its scheme to tackle abandoned bicycles.

The bicycle was tagged for removal with a warning notice and, when the tag was not removed with in the timeframe on the notice, the bicycle was removed by the council.
On Friday morning, I Bike Dublin tweeted: “Tomorrow at 11am we will participate in the re-installation of a ghost bike in remembrance of Zu Zhang Wong who was killed while cycling at Harold’s Cross Bridge on 14 Jan 2009. Join us if you can…. We are not organising this, just attending.”
