Male cyclist seriously injured in collision with car driver

Gardai are attending the scene where a male cyclist was serious injured in a collision with a car driver on the N18 southbound between Junction 9, Shannon, and Junction 8, Sixmilebridge.

The Garda press office said: “Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision between a cyclist and a car on the N18 southbound between Junction 8 and 9. The cyclist (male) was treated at the scene for serious injuries and has been taken to Limerick Hospital.”
