CyclingWorks to launch in Cork after Dublin success

NEWS-IN-BRIEF: CyclingWorks is soon to launch in Cork after the CyclingWorks model — which asks businesses to support segregated cycle routes — was imported from London to Dublin.

As so many large cycle route projects are stalled or slowly making their way through pre-planning, the Dublin group has yet to have a tangible route to focus on, but it is understood that politics and officials are noticing the demands from companies to build the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network.

Today (Tuesday) the founders of CyclingWorks Cork are to give a presentation to the monthly meeting of the Cork Cycling Campaign. The meeting starts at 7pm in Crawford and Co on Anglesea St, opposite Garda Station. The Cork Cycling Campaign says that all welcome.
