Liffey Cycle Route: Timeline and coverage

Last Friday, The Times reported that the Liffey Cycle Route is delayed again and not expected to open until at least 2024. In light of this, here’s our timeline and coverage of the project:

  1. Fantastic and valuable chronology Cian…..but this is not an easy project to implement, and there have been a variety of barriers to potential solutions along the way, some of it Council inflicted, but also issues of public opposition to certain areas!
    At this stage I would want the final design to be ‘right’, and I think we are getting there, although the open consultation and An Bord Pleanala involvement could potentially delay it even more!
    Lets just try to get as many supporters behind the development as possible!
