Two stationless bicycle share operators to go electric in Q2 2020

NEWS IN BRIEF: Two stationless bicycle share operators will launch electric bicycles in Dublin in quarter two of this year, according to Dublin City Council’s Monthly Management Report for February 2020

An update on the Control of Stationless On-Street Bicycle Hire Bye-Laws, the council said: “Bleeperbike operations are continuing successfully. BleeperBikes Licence has been renewed for a further 3 years. Trial of e-bikes (pedelecs) are currently underway and it is expected that e-bikes will be on street Q2 2020. A second licence has been issued to MOBY
who will commence operation in Q2 2020.”
