Cork County Council starts consultation on 16 month speed limit review process

NEWS-IN-BRIEF: Cork County Council said last week that it is starting its speed limit review process which it hopes to finish by October 31, 2022.

It is pre-draft consultation — which means there are no documents or maps to view — which seeks suggestions from members of the public up to Monday July 19, 2021.

Cork County Council said: “If you wish to make a submission, you should outline in detail the exact location and extent of roadway to which you refer along with a brief justification for your recommendation. Submissions should be forwarded in writing only to Staff Officer, Roads Management & Development Unit, Cork County Council, Annabella, Mallow, Co. Cork or by email to speedlimitreview@corkcoco.ie by Monday 19th July, 2021.”
