Dublin City Council is offering subsidised adult cycle training courses provided over three Monday evenings in St Annes Park in Clontarf this month.
The training will take place at the Red Stables in St Anne’s Park at 6pm over three Monday evenings — September 16th, 23rd and 30th.
The council said it is aimed at new or advancing cyclists to help them navigate and enjoy our roads and active travel routes safely.
The sessions will be delivered by an experienced trainer who is certified in Cycle Right, the national cycle training standard.
“Come and join us for our Adult Cycle Training course at The Red Stables in St. Anne’s Park! With the Clontarf to City Centre active travel route nearing completion, Dublin City Council would like to help you to enjoy the route feeling confident and safe,” the council said.
Each participant must have their own bike and pay €17.07 (including a €2.07 booking fee) towards the cost, while Dublin City Council will pay the remainder. Booking is required via eventbrite.ie.
