Gardaí are seeking to reunite an electric bicycle and trailer found on church grounds in Kilkenny with its owner — which have not been reported as lost or stolen locally.
Jokingly calling the bicycle and trailer an “Eco HGV”, local Gardaí said it was found on the grounds of St Canices Church on Tuesday.
On an official Garda Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “A rather useful bicycle and attached child carrier were found on the grounds of St Canices Church today. It is thought that they may have been there for a period of time.”
They added: “Oddly, we haven’t received any reports of similar being lost or stolen locally. If you can assist us in reuniting the impressive rig with its owner. Please contact us on 056 7775000.”
