Researchers are looking for electric cargo bike and trike owners to fill in a survey which takes approximately 17 minutes to complete.
They hope that the answers to their questions can help future policy decisions. The questions cover issues around parking for cargo bikes and cycle route accessibility for larger bikes, including issues with kissing gates and the width of lanes.
The researchers are looking to hear from owners of box bikes, long-tail bikes and trikes.
If you own an e-cargo bike or trike, you are being asked to fill it out by Sunday, April 6th at eu.surveymonkey.com/r/R8LN5PP
The research is being conducted by Dr Robert Egan, Centre for Transport Research, Trinity College Dublin / SEAl Behavioural Economics Unit; Prof Brian Caulfield, Centre for Transport Research, Trinity College Dublin; and Dr Hannah Julienne, SEAΙ Behavioural Economics Unit.
The survey is anonymous. The researchers said this means no one, including the researchers, will know your identity. The information gathered will only be accessible to the study team. The results of the study will be reported in scientific journals and reports and disclosed at academic and policy conferences.
Ah lads, completed the survey but many questions are loaded with false assumptions and biases.
Hi Leo, sorry to hear you found the survey problematic. Thanks for completing it. My email is [email protected] if you had any specific complaints. I can assure you we created it with great care based on the qualitative phase of the project and existing e-cargo bike studies.
