Man knocked off bicycle and injured in collision involving car driver in Co Meath

A man who was knocked off his bicycle was injured and brought to hospital in a collision between his bicycle and a car driven by a motorist between Longwood and Trim in Co Meath on Saturday evening.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí based at Trim Garda Station are seeking your assistance. We are investigating a road traffic collision which happened on Saturday 21 October at around 6.45pm on the Longwood to Trim Road. This collision involved a car and a cyclist.”

“We are looking to speak to anyone who was travelling between Longwood and Trim around this time. Perhaps you noticed something or witnessed the collision. Maybe you have dashcam footage,” the spokesperson said.

Members of the public are being asked by the investigation team would like you to contact Trim Garda Station on 046 948 1540 with any information you have regarding this collision.
