With a large roundabout linked to a motorway ahead, we’re not sure if the message here is: “You’d be better off cycling on the grass”… or is it: “If you want to live, use this footpath to turn back”?

It is quite cavalier but depressing to see how yet again roads engineers in a LA or their consultants just don’t seem to have an understanding of what it’s like to cycle.
