Man on bicycle killed in Co Louth

A man was killed yesterday as he was cycling a bicycle yesterday morning on Birch’s Lane, Blackrock, Co Louth.

Gardai at Dundalk garda station are asking anyone who were on Birch’s Lane between 4am and 7am yesterday morning are asked to contact them on 049-9388400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any garda station.

Gardai say they were called to the collision site, an urban road which leads to Dundalk Golf Club, at around 7am yesterday.

 

RTE reported that 41-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
