A male who was cycling on North Wall Quay was brought to hospital with minor injuries after a collision with a truck turning into Guild Street.
The Garda press office said: “The cyclist was brought to the Mater Hospital with minor injuries, and roads have now reopened.”
The collision happened across the road from the Samuel Beckett Bridge.
The truck has four axles, so, is not covered by the five axle restrictions in the city centre.

maybe we need to add a length restriction as well, this truck seemed to be carrying polystyrene insulation so did not need more axles and would be under most weight restrictions but still handled and had the same blind spots and turning circle as many five axle trucks.
