NEWS IN BREIF: Advocates with the Cork Cycling Campaign have called on Cork County Council to remove barriers on the Curraheen Greenway route, just inside the city’s boundary.
“We’ve had more complaints from cyclists attempting to use the Curraheen Greenway with a kiddie trailer. It has to be lifted over the barrier on the bridge which is a huge inconvenience – especially if a sleeping child has to be taken out,” said the Cork Cycling Campaign, on Facebook.
They added: “It is just outside city boundaries so lies within Cork County Council control. Can these barriers be removed?”
