Gardai seek hit-and-run driver who rear ended 11-year-old boy on bicycle in Co Meath

Gardai are seeking a hit-and-run driver who reportedly rear ended an 11-year-old boy’s bicycle on the road between Moynalvy and Larchill in Meath on Saturday last.

According to the Garda-run Meath Crime Prevention page on Facebook: “Trim Gardai are looking for a bit of assistance if possible. There was a report of a hit and run yesterday 19 October where an 11 year old boy was rear ended on his bicycle on the Moynalvy to Larchill road in Summerhill. The car is best described as an old looking red saloon. The incident occurred at approximately 2pm.”

They added: “If possible could everybody share this and if there was anybody in the area around the time of the incident or have any dash cam footage please call Trim Garda Station on 046-9431222. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
