A person cycling was injured this morning just after 10am in collision with taxi driver driving a car on Church Street this morning.
Gardaí and the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene of the collision.
A spokesperson at the Garda press office said: “Gardaí attended a road traffic collision between a taxi and cyclist. No serious injuries and investigations ongoing.”
The collision happened in a gap in newly segregated cycle lanes, which were recently protected with plastic bollards. The incident happened in a break in cycling segregation behind the Bridewell Garda station, where the cycle route is between the traffic lane and car parking for Garda.
