Construction works on COVID-19 mobility cycle routes on Parnell Square East and Griffith Avenue are to continue, Dublin City Council has said..
The Covid Mobility Report for January 18, issued to councillors, said: “Works are planned to resume next week continuing the installation of the protected cycle lanes on Griffith Avenue Cycle Route between Walnut Rise and the Swords Road.”
On the Parnell Square East contra-flow project, the report added: “Works have begun to modify the junctions along the route on Parnell Square East to facilitate the contra-flow. It is anticipated that we will be in a position to open the contraflow next month.”
