One of north Dublin’s seaside towns, Skerries, is to host a one-day Skerries Cycling Festival tomorrow Sunday, August 22.
The Skerries Cycling Festival will include two group cycles, a 5km fun cycle and a 25km social cycle. Other events include free bike checks and a showcasing of a Cycling Without Age trishaw. More details can be found at skerriesca.com.
The Skerries Cycling Initiative said: “The Skerries Cycling Festival will be all about encouraging people to integrate more active travel into their daily lives so that they can enjoy the fun and other benefits of cycling.
