Cycle route to school in Ballincollig needs public support says campaigners

The Cork Cycling Campaign has called on the public to support a cycle route on Link Rd and Back Rd in Ballincollig — public consultation ends today, August 2 at 4pm.

The project includes 2m wide kerb-protected cycle lanes on Leo Murphy Road / Link Road and two-way cycle path on Carriganarra Road to Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin.

Conn Donovan, chairperson of the Cork Cycling Campaign said: “if you have 5 mins today can you please send in a message of support for this project. It will make cycling to the biggest primary school in Ballincollig and the biggest secondary school in Ballincollig a much more realistic option for many.”
