The project includes 2m wide kerb-protected cycle lanes on Leo Murphy Road / Link Road and two-way cycle path on Carriganarra Road to Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin.'s reader-funded journalism won't survive without your help. With over 762,000 views so-far this year, it's not just "avid cyclists" who read this website, but, if you want it to keep going, more support is needed from readers like you. Now, back to the article...

Conn Donovan, chairperson of the Cork Cycling Campaign said: “if you have 5 mins today can you please send in a message of support for this project. It will make cycling to the biggest primary school in Ballincollig and the biggest secondary school in Ballincollig a much more realistic option for many.”
