NEWS IN BRIEF: There are 13 days left to register for the international Walk 21 conference, which is to be hosted from September 19-23, 2022, at the TU Dublin Grangegorman Campus in central Dublin.
Walk 21 was started by a charity of the same name whose goal is to promote walking for benefits to health, the environment and the economy. The event has previously been hosted in cities such as London, Perth, Copenhagen, Melbourne, New York, Zurich, Mexico City, Barcelona, and Vienna,
Walk 21 Ireland will include talks from Irish and international experts with a focus on walking and liveable communities, workshops, and walks.
The price of attendance ranges from free for ‘passive virtual attendance’ to €500 for the full conference, including conference dinner and workshops.
