News in brief: An in-person-only panel discussion on the topic of ‘Active Travel: Benefits for the Individual and Community’ will take place tonight, Wednesday, June 7th at 6pm, at the Mansion House.

Speakers include Dr Lorraine D’Arcy, chair of the Sustainability Action Research and Innovation Lead at TU Dublin; Dr Jackie Bourke, Lecturer and Researcher in Urban Geography; Janis Morrissey, Director of Health Promotion, Information & Training, Irish Heart Foundation; and Dr Colm Byrne, Consultant Geriatrician, Mater Misericoridiae University Hospital and Co-chair Active Travel Working Group, Irish Doctors for the Environment.
