Want free bicycle lights? The RSA are giving them away via their Facebook page, or, if you’re in Dublin, Gardai in Dublin will be handing out free lights at a number of locations this week. Tomorrow gardai will be at Guild St on North Wall Quay, as they tweeted this afternoon:

This website is reader-funded journalism. It won't survive without your help. IrishCycle covers more than just cycling, and with over 917,000 views so far this year, it's not just "avid cyclists" who read the articles, but if you want it to keep going, more support is needed from readers like you. IrishCycle's future depends on you joining the 400 current subscribers.

Brilliant.
Wish I could get some light for my kids
Great the RSA is a national body and give out free lights to people in Dublin in a well-lighted area. In other words the rest of the country can buy their own lights where they needed most what a corrupt kip.
They regularly give lights out on their Facebook page and will post then anywhere in Ireland.
You can also buy them for €20 in any bike shop. Only half the cost of an on the spot fine!
