RTÉ1 series to explore cycling in Ireland and how other countries do it

A four-part TV series on rural and urban cycling is to start on RTÉ1 this Monday, February 18 at 7:30pm.

‘Now You See Me’ — which is produced by the makers of the well-received ‘How’s Your Driving’ — will include segments covering how cycling is treated in Copenhagen, Seville, London, and The Netherlands.

The blurb for the programme states: “Ask any driver what their biggest aggravation is and chances are they will say cyclists. Ask any cyclist what grinds their gears and most will say drivers… Well, dedicated driver Simon Delaney is on a mission to find out what it’s like to be a cyclist in Ireland, whilst Bláthnaid Treacy is setting out to discover why more Irish people are not embracing the humble bike and how we compare to our European counterparts.”
