Online event tonight explains how you can help collect traffic data from your street

The Irish Cycle Campaign will host a webinar on community traffic data collection tonight, Tuesday, April 23 ·from 7pm.

The national campaign group said that the one-hour event aims to explore how to use the Telraam device to measure traffic data and, after that, how to “engage your community and influence policymakers”.

The Telraam camera is usually attracted to a front window of a house or building facing a road or street and uses AI to count and classify each road user or vehicle that passes.

The guest speaker is Robert McIntosh, the community manager for Telraam, who will give an overview of their devices and Dave Anderson of the Irish Cycling Campaign will speak about his local group’s experiences using Telraam, support and potential funding options.
